Tyler ISD hosted its Summer Graduation ceremony at the district’s Career and Technology Center on Friday.

The event serves as an opportunity to recognize students who worked through the summer to complete the necessary credits for high school.

This year, the district celebrated 15 summer graduates with 10 in attendance at the ceremony. The principals of Robert E. Lee High School and John Tyler High School spoke at the ceremony and encouraged the graduates to finish everything they start in life.

Summer school principals Beverly Anthony and Jordan Dossey presented the diplomas.
