Tyler ISD Assistant Superintendent of Schools Rawly Sanchez resigns

One of Tyler Independent School District’s top administrators has resigned.
The district confirmed on Wednesday that Assistant Superintendent of Schools Rawly Sanchez submitted his resignation, and it was accepted. It is unclear what led to the departure.
A statement from the district said Sanchez tendered his resignation and the district accepted, and wishes him well.
Sanchez has been with the district since 2015. He is a former Dallas ISD chief of staff and principal. In 2009 Sanchez was one of four Dallas area principals nominated as “Super Principals” for the Dallas Morning News‘ Texan of the Year Award.
