All traffic on E. Front Street between Palmer Avenue and Old Henderson Highway is currently closed as of 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to Tyler Police.

The closures are due to power lines down in the roadway, TPD said.

Oncor is on scene and Tyler Police Officers are in the roadway directing traffic.

Drivers are asked to avoid this area and take alternate routes.
