TJC wins award for online excellence

Tyler Junior College has been honored for its online programs.

TJC was named as one of the best colleges in the nation by the Community for Accredited Online Schools.



The site honored TJC for excellence in online learning for the 2016-17 year in four categories – best online colleges, best online vocational schools, best two-year art degree program and best ultrasound technician program.

“We wanted to highlight schools like Tyler Junior College, who are providing exceptional education programs online,” said Doug Jones, CEO and founder of The Community for Accredited Online Schools. “These colleges offer an outstanding educational experience, upholding rigorous accreditation standards and show an overall commitment to maximizing student success.”

Qualifying schools must be public or private nonprofit institutes, carry institutional accreditation and offer at least three online degree programs.
