Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge, in conjunction with Vehicles for Charity, is offering a unique alternative to selling or trading in your vehicle.
By donating your old car, truck or boat you can help support Tiger Creek’s mission: to provide rescue, rehabilitation and a permanent home to big cats that have been abused, neglected or displaced.
“We’re very excited to partner with Vehicles for Charity,” said Brian Werner, executive director of Tiger Creek. “It provides our supporters the chance to receive a tax deduction on a vehicle that may have otherwise gone to waste — all while supporting an endangered species.”
The organization even accepts vehicles that are no longer running, according to the news release.
Tiger Creek is a wildlife sanctuary that is home to more than 37 tigers, lions, and other big cats. The sanctuary is located just a few miles north of Tyler and open to the public.
