Rose Festival arts, crafts fair slated for this weekend

The Tyler Rose Festival Arts and Crafts Fair will be Saturday and Sunday at Bergfeld Park at the corner of Fourth and Broadway Avenue, according to a press release from the city.

Held in conjunction with Tyler’s legendary Texas Rose Festival, the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department hosts the annual Arts and Crafts Fair, which will feature more than 70 vendors offering handcrafted items for sale, including hand turned wood working, photography, jewelry, candles, organic bath and body products, clothing, pottery, wreaths and florals, art, mix-media paintings, plants and more.



The fair is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. Kid’s Zone (includes rock wall and bounce houses) and concessions are available for a fee. Reserved bus parking is provided on Fourth Street!

On Saturday, the University of Texas at Tyler’s Innovation Academy will perform at 10 a.m. in the amphitheater; Saturday afternoon there will be a concert by “Beyond the Pale,” a mix of Celtic and Americana Music, at 4 p.m.
