Robbery at Longview WalMart, suspect in custody

LONGVIEW (KTYX) – One person is in custody after allegedly robbing a person inside a Longview Wal-Mart.
At 11 a.m. Saturday morning, Longview police were dispatched to Wal-Mart located at East Loop 281 and Fourth Street. A suspect brandished a firearm and took money from a victim inside the store. He fled the scene, but was later caught near Harmon Drive and Eubanks street.
The suspect was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery. He was transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident.
Police recovered both the firearm used and the stolen cash.
The names of the victim and suspect have not yet been released.
