Tyler Police are searching for suspects involved in an overnight robbery at the Wal-Mart on Troup Highway.

Tyler police responded to Wal-Mart in reference to reports of an aggravated robbery around 1:24 a.m. on Thursday.

Officers on scene were told two suspects were running out the door with two flatscreen TV’s in a shopping cart. An employee attempted to stop them to ask for a receipt when the suspect, a white male, told him to get out of the way and pulled a handgun on him.

The suspects got into a waiting Volkswagen Jetta driven by a third suspect. Officers spotted the suspect’s vehicle a short time later and attempted to elude police by pulling into the Summerwood Apartments on Old Omen Road, according to a police report. The suspects were seen running through the middle of the complex with the stolen TV’s.

Officers found one of the stolen TV’s hidden in the complex and also located the getaway vehicle and driver. The driver was identified as Jamaine Pringle, 25. Pringle was charged with Aggravated Robbery. He is being held in the Smith County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
