Willie, a 7-year-old min pin mix that is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler.

Are you looking for a lap dog? Here he is — this is Willie, a 7-year-old min pin mix that is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler. Willie may be 7 but he acts like a young pup! He would be perfect for someone who is retired and looking for that special companion — Willie has lots of unconditional love to give. Willie has been neutered and is current on starting vaccinations including rabies. He has been microchipped for identification, and when Willie is adopted he will receive 30 days of free pet health insurance. Older dogs make great pets — they are usually more laid back and ready to settle into their new home. For more information on adopting Willie, call 903-597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website, petsfurpeople.org. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective-admission, no-kill animal sanctuary. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter. Please be a responsible pet owner — spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
