Tylerites celebrated the city’s history of roses and rose growers on Saturday by watching the annual Rose Parade.
The parade is a family favorite in the annual Texas Rose Festival celebration.
The parade includes decorated floats, marching bands, dancers and cheerleaders.
If you missed the parade, don’t worry. The Tyler Morning Telegraph took a long video of the entire thing. It’s the next best thing to actually being there. Heads up that it’s 37 minutes long, but you can skip around in the video player.
The Paper has been experimenting with video, so there’s also a time lapse version where the 37-minute parade is condensed down to 2 minutes – perfect for folks with short attention spans.
