Meeting about UT Tyler’s criminal justice program Aug. 11

The University of Texas at Tyler’s Longview University Center will have an advising session for students interested in the criminal justice program.



An advising team will be on the UT Tyler Longview campus from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 11.

The team will provide information about the UT Tyler Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

Instructors will be available to answer questions about the program, career options and course offerings.

“UT Tyler is looking forward to bringing these criminal justice classes to the Longview University Center,” center Director Dr. Van Patterson said.

A criminal justice degree can prepare students for careers in probation, parole, law enforcement or work at other social service or government agencies.
