Smith County Master Garden Ed McGee provided tips and techniques to prospective gardeners on Monday during a lecture titled “A-Z’s of Vegetable Gardening” at the Tyler Public Library.
McGee talked about selecting quality seed stock or plants, as well as mulching and watering techniques, as steps to increase chances of success in gardening. McGee’s presentation was the final installment of a series of spring gardening lectures hosted by the library and the local Master Gardeners group to bring experts together with residents.
