According to Lt. Billy W. Yates, Flores was wanted in connection with shots fired about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Taco Bell at 7425 S. Broadway Ave.

Witnesses stated that a male, later identified as Flores, fired several rounds from a pistol toward Joseph Gilliam.

Once officers arrived on the scene, they discovered Flores and Gilliam were involved in a verbal altercation, Yates said.

The altercation led to shots being fired. No one was injured during the shooting, and Flores left before the officers’ arrival.
