Last day to swim at city pools today

As the temperatures hit 100 degrees and above this week, many Tyler residents found relief in the water at swimming pools.

The city of Tyler has two public pools, located at Fun Forest Park, 2000 North Forest Ave. and Woldert Park, 701 W. 32nd Street.



Saturday is the last day to enjoy the pools until next year.

Both of the swimming pools will close after Saturday Aug. 8.  Saturday hours are 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and admission is free.
