Henderson County man admits to continual sexual assault of juvenile

A Cross Roads man faces 25 years to life in prison after confessing to continually sexually assaulting a juvenile over several years, according to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse.
William Eugene Hesseltine, 58, confessed to the crime Thursday after questioning, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
When the victim was interviewed by investigators, she made an appeal for help. After he was contacted by authorities, Hesseltine told them he knew why they were speaking with him, the release stated.
