U.S. Rep. Nathaniel Moran, R-Tyler, will host a telephone town hall Monday night for residents of Texas’ First Congressional District to ask questions and share their thoughts.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, March 31. It will be a virtual discussion. Participants can register online, and the participation line will be provided on the day of the event.
Moran said, in a news release, that he is committed to keeping East Texans informed through his weekly email newsletter, which is distributed to more than 25,000 people. Additionally, Moran said his team organizes tele-townhalls nearly every month, reaching about 80,000 constituents per call.
Since taking office, Moran has held 15 tele-townhalls. On average, around 6,000 people participate in each call, according to his office. In 2024, over 26,000 people joined his tele-townhalls to discuss topics like border security, taxes and energy.
Moran has also hosted in-person town halls, roundtables and public forums across the district. Since August, he has held more than 20 in-person events on topics including national security, finance and technology, according to his office.
