John David Cluley, M.D., has completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. The graduation ceremony was June 19 in Dallas.

During this three-year program, Dr. Cluley was selected as Chief Fellow among his peers. His fellowship research project was accepted for presentation at the international meeting, Digestive Diseases Week. His work is being submitted for publication.

John is a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Wichita Falls, The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. He previously completed his internal medicine residency at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Cluley is married to Wendy Wheless Cluley, formerly of Dallas. He is the son of Ken and Mary Ann Cluley of Berryville.

Dr. Cluley will be joining Gastroenterology of San Marcos and New Braunfels.
