The Henderson County Sheriff"s Office took a suspected drug dealer off the streets Thursday.

A seven-member team from the sheriff’s office conducted an investigation at a residence on Ravenwood Road, in the Westwood Beach subdivision, south of Chandler.

Investigators found Tonia Speer, 49, of Chander with a substantial amount of what appeared to be methamphetamine that was packaged and ready for sale and distribution.

Deputies also identified Richard Derrick Brashear, 42, of Chandler at the residence. He was arrested for possession of at least a 1 gram of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, according to Henderson County jail records.

Speer was charged with manufacturing and delivery of at least 1 gram but less than 4 grams of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 and for the illegal possession of a firearm by a felon.

She is being held in the Henderson County Jail. Her bond has not been set, according to jail records.

Speer's legal history in Henderson County dates back to 2003 and includes multiple arrests for drug possession, according to judicial records.
