The boil-water notice for customers of the City of Troup Public Water Supply has been lifted.

On Tuesday, a boil-water notice was issued due to a break in a water line which posed the risk of contamination. A press release from the City of Troup indicates that corrective measures have been taken, and there is no longer a need to boil water before use.
