Bank robbed in Kilgore, FBI and police searching for suspect

KILGORE – The Citizens National Bank in Kilgore was robbed Friday afternoon.
Police reported at approximately 4:50 pm officers responded to the Citizen’s National Bank at 410 N. Kilgore St.
Officers met with multiple employees who said the bank had just been robbed at gunpoint.
The suspect was described to be a Hispanic male, between 5 feet 4 and 5 feet 8 inches tall and with a slim build.
The suspect appears to be in his 30s or 40s and was wearing a black jacket, black pants with a stripe and a black “beanie” hat.
The suspect was armed with a handgun and fled the location with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency.
The case is being jointly investigated by Kilgore Police CIU and FBI Tyler. Photographs are attached to this release.
