Anderson Co. man arrested for drugs, weapon

PALESTINE, TEXAS (KYTX) – An Anderson County man is behind bars today after a search by The Texas Department of Public Safety revealed he was in possession of an illegal firearm and drugs.
DPS executed the search warrant on May 7 at a residence in Anderson County that resulted in the seizure of approximately 94 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 74 grams of suspected methamphetamine and approximately 73 grams of suspected marihuana at the Oakcrest Drive residence.
In addition, two first-degree felony drug charges were filed against Pablo Perales Deleon, 54. The suspect was transported to the Anderson County Jail.
Other agencies involved in the investigation include the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Intuitional Division and the Anderson County District Attorney’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
