With nearly all of East Texas under a Winter Storm Warning or Advisory, school districts across the Tyler area are considering changes to their class schedules. This list will be updated throughout the day with changes. For districts to our east, our sister paper the Longview News-Journal has full coverage here.

Arp ISD: Classes canceled Friday.

Athens ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.

Bishop Gorman Catholic School: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.

Brownsboro ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday. 

Bullard ISD: Classes and activities canceled Thursday. Classes are canceled Friday. Extracurricular events will be communicated from athletic sponsor or activity sponsor. 

Chapel Hill ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday. 

Cumberland Academy: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.

Eustace ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.

Frankston ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday. 

Grand Saline ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.

Grace Community School and Grace Early Education: Classes will be closed Thursday and Friday for both Tyler and Lindale.

Hawkins ISD: Classes and activities canceled Thursday and Friday.

Jacksonville ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.

Jarvis Christian College: Campus will be closed Friday with classes continuing virtually.

Lindale ISD: Campus and offices will be closed, but students still attend school virtually. Teachers and principals will be in contact with each individual student regarding virtual learning. All Thursday after-school extracurricular games, events and activities have also been canceled or postponed. Friday, campuses and offices will be closed and students will have another virtual day. 

Martins Mill ISD: Closed Thursday and Friday. 

Mineola ISD: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Murchison ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday. 

New Summerfield ISD: Early release at 1 p.m. Thursday. Classes canceled Friday.

Palestine ISD: There will be early release on Thursday. Washington ECC, Northside and Southside will dismiss car riders at 11 a.m. Story, PJH and PHS will dismiss car riders at 11:30 a.m. Buses will depart campuses at noon. Classes canceled Friday. 

Rusk ISD: Early release at noon on Thursday. There will be no classes Friday. 

Texas A&M Texarkana: Campus will be closing at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Campus will be closed on Friday. 

Texas College: Classes will be conducted virtually on Thursday and Friday. 

The Brook Hill School: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday. 

Troup ISD: Classes and athletic events on Thursday canceled. Friday games are still scheduled for now, but there will be a notification Friday around noon if anything changes. Classes canceled Friday.

Tyler ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday. 

Tyler Junior College: All locations, classes closed Thursday and Friday. 

Van ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.

University of Texas at Tyler: At 8:05 a.m. Thursday, the school announced that all academic campuses are closed Thursday. Online classes and remote work will continue as planned. Campuses will remain closed Friday. 

Whitehouse ISD: Classes canceled Friday. 

Winnsboro ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday. Basketball games scheduled for Friday are expected to continue and an update will be sent if they are rescheduled. 

Winona ISD: Classes canceled Thursday and Friday.
