Top talent will appear at Showcase of Stars, an annual fundraiser for Hope Haven of East Texas, a home for girls in foster care.

The fundraiser is set from 3 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 19 at Love and War in Texas, the new restaurant and concert venue at The Cannery, in Lindale.

Earlier this year, Hope Haven broke ground on a 6,400-square-foot house near Lindale, that will provide a home for 16 teenage girls in foster care.

“We are so very close to seeing the doors open at the new Hope Haven long-term home for girls, ages 13 to 17, who have been abused or neglected,” said founder Lisa Ferguson in an update posted on Hope Haven’s website. “Construction is well underway in Lindale and should be completed by February 2017.”
