More than 100 guests attended the Tyler Museum of Art's members reception and preview Aug. 18 for the new exhibition “Devotion: The Impact of Amy & Vernon Faulconer on Our Collection.”

The exhibition is part of the museum's ongoing 45th anniversary celebration and serves as a tribute to the couple whose influence as art collectors, encouragement and financial support helped the museum build its permanent collection.

Collection pieces that have been acquired as a direct result of their generosity, gathered for the first time in a single exhibition, include works by Terry Allen, David Bates, Vernon Fisher, Sedrick Huckaby, Al Souza, Karl Umlauf and many other Texas artitsts.

The show runs through Nov. 27 at the Tyler Museum of Art.
