Soccer Roundup: Lady Raiders win district opener

The Tyler Legacy Lady Raiders opened District 10-6A soccer competition with an 8-2 win over Mesquite Horn.
Lily Beckham netted a hat track. Sydney Allen had two goals. Mia Ledesma, Jenna Barnes and Bella McNeil all had a goal.
McNeil and Sydney Allen each had two assists. Brianna Garcia, Ledesma, Beckham and Joy Bryner all had an assist.
The Red Raiders played to a 2-2 draw on the road against Mesquite Horn.
The Red Raiders are hosting North Forney at 7:30 p.m. Friday, and the Lady Raiders will be at North Forney for a 7:15 p.m. start Friday.
Bullard girls 5, Chapel Hill 0
Rylie Jo Garner scored six minutes into the game.
Mollie Carlile scored on an assist by Paige Barrett in the 21st minute. Addy Cummings assisted a Niyah Gee goal, and Barrett then score a goal on an assist to give the Lady Panthers a 5-0 halftime lead.
Bullard had seven shot opportunity in the second half, but the final goal came in the final two minutes when Barrett scored for the second time.
Cumberland Academy Boys 7, Brownsboro 0
Caleb Jackson, Abel Solorio, Rodrigo Cardenas and Macklane Parsley all scored goals for Cumberland Academy (2-1 in district).
