The Brook Hill Basketball Invitational will take place Thursday through Saturday at the Herrington Sports Center on the campus of the Brook Hill School.

The event will feature seven boys teams.

Thursday’s schedule is Brook Hill vs. Carlisle, 3:20 p.m.; Cumberland Academy vs. Troup, 4:40 p.m.; Douglass vs. Rusk, 6 p.m.; and Brook Hill vs. All Saints, 7:20 p.m.

Friday will begin bracket play.

First-round matchups are Rusk vs. Carlisle, 12:40 p.m.; Troup vs. All-Saints, 2 p.m.; and Douglass vs. Cumberland Academy, 3:20 p.m.

The losers of the first two games will face at 4:40 p.m., and the winners will meet at 6 p.m. Brook Hill will face either Douglass or Cumberland Academy at 7:20 p.m.

There are games at 10 a.m., 11:20 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. Saturday before the championship at 2 p.m.

Wills Point will host a 12-team boys tournament.

Participating teams are Wills Point, Dallas Christian, Mount Vernon, Edgewood, Life Waxahachie, Lone Oak, Paris North Lamar, Mineola, Mabank, Brownsboro, Paris Chisum and Showtime.

Thursday’s schedule is Paris Chisum vs. Showtime, 9 a.m.; Paris North Lamar vs. Mineola, 10:25 a.m.; Edgewood vs. Life Waxahachie, 11:50 a.m. Wills Point vs. Dallas Christian, 1:15 p.m.; Showtime vs. Brownsboro, 2:40 pm..; Mabank vs. Paris North Lamar, 4:05 p.m.; Lone Oak vs. Edgewood, 5:30 p.m.; and Mount Vernon vs. Wills Point, 6:55 p.m.

Friday’s pool play schedule is Brownsboro vs. Paris Chisum, 9 a.m.; Mineola vs. Mabank, 10:25 a.m.; Life Waxahachie vs. Lone Oak, 11:50 a.m.; and Dallas Christian vs. Mount Vernon, 1:15 p.m.

Bracket play will start at 3:55 p.m. Friday with the championship game scheduled for 6:55 p.m. Saturday.

The Rusk girls, Tatum boys and Palestine Westwood boys will play in the Central Heights Tournament.

Rusk will face Central Heights at 11:20 a.m. Thursday, Hemphill at 3:20 p.m. Thursday and CHSM at 2 p.m. Friday.

Tatum will face Westwood at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Hudson at 6 p.m. Thursday and Central Heights at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Westwood will face Tatum at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Central Heights at 7:20 p.m. Thursday and Hudson at 10 a.m. Friday.

Other girls teams in the tournament are Center, Diboll, Hitchcock and Texas Truth. Other boys teams in the tournament are Hitchcock, Lorena, Central and Center.

The girls championship is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, and the girls championship is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. Saturday.
