Leverett’s Chapel beats King’s Academy

LAIRD HILL — Behind 235 rush yards and six touchdowns from Derrick Moye, Leverett’s Chapel topped King’s Academy 54-36 on Friday night.

The Lions (3-0) jumped ahead in the first quarter and pulled away late in a matchup of undefeated six-man teams.



The Royal Knights (2-1) were led by Caleb Tibbets’ 89 total yards and two rushing touchdowns. Phillip Baker added a rushing and receiving touchdown.

Dilyn Cooley led the Leverett’s Chapel defense with 20 tackles while Koy Burks had an interception.
