Texas State Rep. Daniel Alders was appointed to serve on the Texas House Committee on the Delivery of Government Efficiency and the House Committee on Land and Resource Management.
“It is a privilege to serve the people of Texas on these committees,” said Representative Alders. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to look for ways that we can cut wasteful government spending, correct inefficiencies that have gone unaddressed, and ensure that the property rights of Texans are respected.”

Alders, of Tyler, who represents House District 6, will participate in committee hearings, vote on legislation, and contribute to research and oversight responsibilities during the interim.
The Committee on the Delivery of Government Efficiency, created during the 89th Legislative Session, focuses on identifying inefficiencies in state and local governments. Its jurisdiction includes oversight of the Texas Sunset Advisory Committee, the Department of Information Resources and the Texas Space Commission.
The Committee on Land and Resource Management oversees issues related to public land use, eminent domain, municipal utility districts, annexation, zoning and the General Land Office.
