First responders were dispatched shortly before 8 a.m. to a possible kitchen at the Wesley House assisted living facility on 13923 Farm-to-Market Road 2710 in Lindale. 

Scanner traffic indicated the fire was contained in the kitchen area.

The small grease fire was contained to a kitchen stove, according to Lindale Firefighter Jordan Hicks. 

The fire was extinguished about 8:15 a.m. 

No injuries were reported and only minimal damage to the stove was noticed.
