Smith County officials will consider a public safety contract with the state and various utility line installation requests.
The Smith County Commissioners Court will consider the items at its regular meeting at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Smith County Courthouse’s annex building.
The commissioners will need to authorize Smith County Judge Nathaniel Moran to sign documents to allow the Texas Department of Public Safety to use Smith County communications channels for two statewide communication initiatives.
The commissioners also will consider six requests to install pipes or utility lines in Smith County. The six requests are on County Roads 431, 3147, and 313.
