More than 60 Sam’s Club locations around the country are closing. However, the Tyler and Longview stores appear to be safe based on a map of open locations on the Sam’s Club website. 

In replies posted on the company’s verified Twitter account, officials said, “After a thorough review of our existing portfolio, we’ve decided to close a series of clubs and better align our locations with our strategy. Closing clubs is never easy and we’re committed to working with impacted members and associates through this transition.” 

Twitter posts also referred people looking for information about open clubs to an official company website that listed the Tyler and Longview locations as open.
