SPRING HILL 13, PINE TREE 11

LONGVIEW — The Spring Hill Lady Panthers scored five times in the top of the seventh and held off a late Pine Tree rally to earn a 13-11 win in a battle of crosstown rivals and District 16-4A foes.

Spring Hill scored seven times in the top of the second, and led 13-5 before Pine Tree pushed across six runs in the bottom of the seventh to make it close.

Abbye McFaul pitched 4.2 innings for Spring Hill, walking five. Kyndall Witt fanned two and walked two in 2.1 innings. Aubreigh Whiddon doubled and drove in two runs for the Lady Panthers. Sophie Robinett had a single and an RBI. Peyton Dees drove in two runs, and Josie Gray and Haley Blake chipped in with an RBI apiece.

Taylor Burkhart struck out nine and walked 14 for Pine Tree in six innings. Mo Rougely fanned one and walked two in an inning of work.



At the plate, Rougely and Burkhart both homered, with Rougely driving in two runs. Rhi Black singled and drove in two runs, and Jasmine Byrd and Zamoria Smith drove in a run apiece.

HALLSVILLE 15, NACOGDOCHES 0

HALLSVILLE — Lindsey Dubberly struck out eight of the 11 batters she faced in three innings, issuing no walks and giving up two hits as the Hallsville Ladycats blanked Nacogdoches, 15-0.

Sadie Gonzalez homered and drove in two runs to lead the offense for Hallsville. Hope Miles singled twice and drove in two runs. Dubberly tripled, singled and plated a run. Heidi Hart, Miller Goswick, Audrey Jones and Ella Baird all added a single and an RBI apiece, and Makena Ellis singled and drove in two runs.

TATUM 19, WEST RUSK 1

TATUM — Noa Cart tossed a two-hitter with six strikeouts and three walks over four innings, and Alex Tovar doubled and drove in three runs for Tatum as the Lady Eagles notched a 19-1 win over West Rusk.

Camryn Milam and Alex Brown both singled twice, drove in two runs and scored three times for Tatum. Layla Icenhower added a double. Jazmyne Taylor singled and drove in three runs, and Cart chipped in with a single and an RBI.

Kenlee Reasoner pitched for West Rusk, striking out two and walking seven. Lainey Dotson singled and drove in a run, and Aylin Rocha added a double for the Lady Raiders.

HUGHES SPRINGS 11, NEW DIANA 1

HUGHES SPRINGS — Addysyn Billings struck out three, walked three and allowed no earned runs in five innings as the Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs earned an 11-1 win over New Diana.

Billings helped her own cause with a double and two runs scored. Annie Stonesifer added a double and two RBI, and Shae’Leigh Johnson drove in a run.

Avery Howard and Chloe Green pitched for New Diana. Addi Valle doubled and Taryn Reece drove in a run for the Lady Eagles.

BECKVILLE 18, ELYSIAN FIELDS 0

ELYSIAN FIELDS — Beckville erupted for 10 runs in the top of the second to put this one away, rolling to an 18-0 win over Elysian Fields.

Hannah Rogers struck out five and walked two in three shutout innings pitched for Beckville.

Landrie Dennard and Gracey Struwe had two hits apiece for the Ladycats. Carli Tuttle drove in three runs, and Dennard and Rogers had two RBI apiece. Brilee Brumley chipped in with a double and an RBI.

Madison Owens, Avery Woodley and Layla Adkins all singled for Elysian Fields.
