Healthgrades, an online resource that recommends health care professionals, has recognized the Christus Trinity Mother Frances system with the Outstanding Patient Experience Award for 2018.

The award recognizes the top 15 percent of hospitals across the nation for the patient experience they provide, according to a news release from Christus.

More than 3,400 hospitals applied for the award, submitting at least 100 patient testimonials, the release said. Healthgrades selected 439 of those hospitals, including Christus.
