Lindale Fire Department invites the public to an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, when residents will be able to visit with members of the Lindale Fire Department and see the unveiling of the department’s new Ladder Truck.

The truck was custom built with a 107-foot aerial ladder, 500 gallon water tank and is capable of pumping 1500 gallons per minute, according to the city. 

Along with these features, it will carry specialized equipment for high/low angle rope rescue, swift water rescue, vehicle stabilization, emergency vehicle extrication and emergency medical first responding.
