Emily Elbert set for show March 24 at Old Firehouse in Edom

Singer/songwriter Emily Elbert will perform at The Old Firehouse in Edom on March 24. She will be joined by her father, pianist Roland Elbert, a former Tylerite.

A Texas native living in Los Angeles, Ms. Elbert is known for her rhythmic guitar playing, original tunes and interpretations of rock, jazz, pop and folk songs, according to information from promoters.

She has played more than 1,000 shows and toured for year with Grammy winner Esperanza Spalding. Her father has performed as pianist in the Dallas area for years.

The Old Firehouse is located in downtown Edom. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $12 to $15.
