In preparation for the parade, children and families decorated their bikes and strollers with stars and stripes tape, decorative flags and plenty of red, white and blue for all.
The parade was led by Korn Pop the Clown, followed by children in their bikes and tricycles. Rick Ford, president of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, rode the Keep Chandler Beautiful buggy.
“Every year it gets bigger and bigger and we get more people gathered,” Nancy Bertholf said. “Everyone looks forward to the fireworks, which is the best part.”
Kaylin Kerley took selfies with her mother in the photo booth section with patriotic props.
“My favorite part about the Fourth of July is the American flag because it makes me feel proud,” Kerley said.
The city of Chandler, Chandler Chamber of Commerce and the Historical Society sponsored the event.
