Funeral service for Ms. Vertrice Jordan 51, Tyler is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday December 2,2017 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Zeb Cantley as eulogist. Burial will be in Hopewell Community Cemetery Swan, under the direction of Community Funeral Home Of Tyler. Ms. Vertrice Jordan died at home on November 25,2017.

She was born July 12, 1966 in Tyler,Texas and was a lifetime resident. She attended Griffin Elementary, Dogan Middle School, and John Tyler High School. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was a Private Duty Sitter.

She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents O.J. & Fannie Jones; paternal grandparents JT & Bessie Mae Fields, brother Terry DeWayne Jordan.

Survivors include her parents- Annie & Sam Long; Robert Jordan, Sr. of Tyler, Tx ; 2 daughters; Fenisha(Gerald) Johnson, Jr. ; Patricia Daniel, of Tyler, Tx. 3 brothers; Robert Jordan, Jr., Kansas City Missouri, Vertrick (Melissa) Jordan, Tyler, Texas., Frederick (Michelle) Jordan, Vertrick (Melissa)Jordan, Tyler Tx., 3 Sisters; Pamela Jordan, Tyler, Tx ; Robertnetta Jordan, Atlanta, Ga., Chandra Jordan Tyler,Tx; 3 Grandchildren: Gerald III, GaNiya, Geneicia Johnson, Tyler,Tx.
