Four Athens Hornets sign NLI, Travon Fuller headed to Texas A&M

Four Athens Hornets made their college choices official Wednesday morning on National Signing Day at the Athens High School Lecture Hall.

Travon Fuller, an All-East Texas first team defensive back signed with Texas A&M.  Teammate Logan Fuller, an All-ET first team running back signed with Tyler Junior College.

They were joined by offensive lineman Josh West, who chose Southeastern Oklahoma, and Ana Rodriguez who signed a soccer scholarship to University of Incarnate Word.

Travon Fuller committed to A&M at the end of his sophomore season. The senior said he was glad to finally make it official.

“I’ve been waiting a long time for this day,” Fuller said.  “To finally make it official and can finally get it over with.”
