Liberty Hall will host an East Texas version of the 1970’s hit TV show “The Newlywed Game” on Saturday.

The event will be held at 8 p.m. at the Liberty, 110 W. Erwin St.

“Last year was our first time to do this event and it was a hit,” said Liberty Hall Manager Anne Payne. “People have been asking about tickets since last November.”

Four couples will be chosen from the audience to participate in the live version of the game show.

For the first round, one spouse will be taken off the stage while the other is asked three questions. The roles are reversed in the second round. The first round of questions are worth 10 points each, and the final question is worth 25 points. The couple with the highest score at the end will win.
