Fort Worth team edges Grace, 1-0

Fort Worth All Saints edged the Grace Community Lady Cougars, 1-0, on Tuesday in a TAPPS Division II State Soccer Tournament semifinal at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock.

The Lady Saints advance to the state championship game to face Houston Second Baptist at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the same location.



Second Baptist and Houston Emery/Weiner finished regulation 0-0, but the Lady Eagles advanced after a shootout, 3-2.

This was Grace’s seventh trip to the state Final Four, including two straight. The Lady Cougars have won three state championships, including the 2024 title.

On Thursday, the Lady Cougars defeated Grapevine Faith Christian 1-0 to capture the TAPPS Division II regional girls soccer title at Better Life Stadium in Forney.

Kate Herod scored the lone goal of the game off an assist from Elle Durham.

Gracyn Campbell was in goal for Grace for the clean sheet against Grapevine Faith.
