One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Every minute, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. On May 7, East Texans can walk, run and donate in this year’s Komen Tyler Race for the Cure. Kallie Foshee, Co-Chair of this year’s event, said, “Registration will start on May 4 at Regions Bank on the downtown square and will continue until the end of the week.” This year’s event includes the traditional 5K along with the Kids Dash and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
