Congregation Beth El, 1010 Charleston Drive, in Tyler has scheduled an open house for 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2.

Guests are invited to join the Jewish community for Shabbat services at 7 p.m. followed by an educational presentation about the congregation and Judaism, plus a question-and-answer session with Rabbi Neal Katz.Refreshments will be served.

Dress is nice/casual (no shorts or jeans). The event is free. However, space is limited so guests are asked to let the congregation know they are coming at http://tinyurl.com/hkbkhsm.
