The Sister2Sister Cookies location on South Broadway sold, so the bakery is moving to Shelley Drive. The new location has been remodeled and will open at 12 noon on Wednesday.

A Tyler cookie shop is getting ready to open the doors to its new location.

Sister2Sister Cookies, which announced a move in October, will open at its new home at 135 Shelley Drive in Tyler. The store announced via Facebook it will open at noon Wednesday.

“We are so excited to announce that we’ll be opening our doors today at 12:00! We’re so grateful for your patience during this transition and can’t wait to see you soon!” the cookie shop said in a Facebook post.

Remodeling has been underway at the new Shelley Drive location since the former Broadway Avenue location was sold in October.

The shop originally projected to open in the new location in January, but construction delays set back the opening. 

According to the bakery’s website, the Sister2Sister’s love for baking goes back many generations as the shop is filled with favorite family recipes from mom, dad, grandmothers, great grandmothers, aunts and cousins. The cookies are baked fresh daily from scratch and have no preservatives added.

Flavors include fresh baked chocolate chip, pecan chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, white chocolate macadamia nut, oatmeal raisin, oatmeal chocolate chip, double chocolate chip cookies and more.

The store also has a drive-thru. 

Additionally, cookies can be ordered online and delivered locally, or shipped nationwide. The store also offers curbside and in-store pickup. 

After it officially opens at noon Wednesday, the store’s regular hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. It is closed Sundays.
