FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A woman has died of injuries she sustained when a truck crashed into a convenience store in North Texas.

Fort Worth police spokeswoman Tracey Knight said the adult male driver was arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter after being treated for minor injuries. His name was not immediately released.

Knight says the driver and an adult male passenger were fleeing the scene of a minor accident when the truck turned a corner at high speed and careened into the convenience store. The woman was one of six people in the store. The other five also were hospitalized, but none in critical condition.

Knight says that the truck’s passenger suffered minor injuries and won’t be charged.
