On Aug. 20, the Tyler Senior Center will host a painting party for ages 50 and better from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Join special art instructor Jan Widner of Jan’s Arts Academy and create your own masterpiece. Instruction, supplies and canvas will be provided for a fee of $25 per person.

Light hors d’oeuvres and punch will be served. Each participant will be guided with step-by-step instructions while painting their own work of art. At the end of the evening, participants can take their creation home with them.

Kay Odom, Tyler Senior Center supervisor said in a press release, “We are so excited to add this new event for Tyler seniors. What an opportunity for a fun night and to work with a professional!”
