PALESTINE – Carlisle Indians quarterback Collin Gray looked flawless completing 12 of 16 passes for 128 yards and four touchdowns as the Indians rolled by Anderson-Shiro Owls 66-20 in a Class 2A Division I bi-district playoffs on Friday at Panther Stadium.
The Indians took their opening possession and put together an impressive 12-play, 67-yard drive that was capped off by Michael Savala snagging a 12-yard TD pass from Gray.
Savala had three receptions for 53 yards and three TDs in the game.
After Gray scored on a 1-yard run the flood gates opened up and the Owls didn’t have an answer for the Indians as Carlisle ran up a 42-6 at the half.
“I like how we played tonight,” said Carlisle coach Rocky Baker.
“Collin played a great game and overall I’m pleased at our overall efforts tonight.”
