Forest is a 2.5-year-old DSH mix. He is shy with new people and takes some time to warm up to them. He has been around both dogs and cats and enjoys the company of any furry friend. He doesn’t like to be picked up but prefers staying close to you. He will occasionally lay in your lap, but he rather enjoys the company of another cat to play with. He loves looking out the window at birds and will entertain himself by watching them. Forest has been completely vetted and is litterbox trained.
Teddy Graham is a DSH mix who was born in SPCA’s care on May 21, 2024. He is litterbox trained, has been fully vetted, and needs an indoor home. Teddy Graham gets along with cats, dogs, and kids. All he needs is an open spot in your bed because he is a snuggle bug.
Chloe was surrendered to the SPCA of East Texas when her family could no longer keep her in their apartment. She is a Labrador mix with an estimated birth date of Dec. 14, 2024. Chloe is still a puppy and has a lot of energy to burn. She would do best in a home with an active family that can give her plenty of exercise and playtime. Like all puppies, she needs continuous work on basic training to help her become the best pup she can be.
Bonsai, aka Sam, is a 6.5-year-old, 81-pound Shepherd mix. He was adopted from the SPCA of East Texas in 2018 but unexpectedly lost his owner this year. He is well-mannered but has always been the only pet in his home. Sam is quiet and independent and spends most of his time lounging around the house. He is incredibly affectionate and loyal once he warms up to you. He regularly visits the Bossart Bark Park and interacts well with other friendly dogs.
Maizy is a 1.5-year-old, 50-pound Black Mouth Cur mix. She has been fully vetted and is ready for a loving home. She is part of our Pets 4 Vets program. Maizy is athletic, friendly, affectionate, and loyal. She loves to play, run, and explore. She is very people-oriented and will stick by your side. Due to her athletic build, she would do best in an active household that can keep her engaged and entertained. She is very smart and has a playful spirit.
