Blue Bell ice cream is officially back for sale in Tyler. Employees started unloading over 400 gallons of ice cream at Brookshires’s grocery store on Rice Road Monday before dawn. Fans of Blue Bell can expect to purchase flavors like Dutch Chocolate, Pistachio and Almond, and Cookies n Cream.

More than 100,000 half-gallons will be delivered to 170 stores in East Texas today.

The company voluntarily recalled its products in April after they were linked to 10 listeria cases in four states, including three deaths in Kansas. According to its website, the company recalled approximately 8 million gallons of ice cream and ice cream products.
