UNION GROVE — Hunter Gibson rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns to help Union Grove overcome an early deficit to beat Beckville 25-8 on Friday.

Gibson scored on runs of 39, 30 and 25 yards for the Lions (1-0), who outscored Beckville 25-0 over the final three quarters.

Jacob Eads added 117 yards rushing on 23 carries for Union Grove, and Brian Richardson and Garrett Gibson combined for 132 yards on the ground.

Union Grove finished with 403 yards of total offense, all rushing. The Lions play at Overton at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
