Anderson leads Brook Hill to sweep

BULLARD — The Brook Hill Lady Guard volleyball team improved to 4-2 on the season with a three-game sweep over Longview Christian Academy, 25-19, 25-17, 25-14, Tuesday at Herrington Gymnasium.
Samantha Anderson, a 6-2 freshman, led the way to the win with 11 kills and four blocks. Anderson was key in the first game at service, serving five points (one ace) to help turn a deficit into a 9-6 advantage.
Alyssa Eden added eight kills and three blocks, while teammate Baylee Rozell had three aces to go with four kills and two blocks.
The Lady Guard return to the court in the Eustace tournament beginning Thursday.
Brook Hill also won the junior varsity match in two games, 25-12, 25-13.
